Suggestions on inserts

I’m currently using a Steel Kube with an XL banger and insert.  Currently I just use the insert by leaving it in the banger.  It keeps the banger nice and clean and it’s easy to clean the insert with a torch.  Recently I had session with a torch based banger and insert setup where the insert was pre-loaded and dropped in after heat up, which worked really, really well.  I’m wondering if anyone has had any experience using their Kube in a similar way.  I’m thinking the Glob feature might be useful, too
