AugustHaus Controllers come with a 3 year parts and labor warranty from the date of purchase

We are glad to provide at-cost service on your AugustHaus controller for the life of the product after the first three years if all Terms and Conditions are met.

 

This device is meant to reach a high temperature. Do not leave the heating element on when you are not around, that is irresponsible even with an automated timer. This device can get extremely hot and cause combustion and serious burns if used improperly, we warn you to use them with extreme caution. Do NOT touch the heating element, it's hot. Do Not submerge the heating element or any part of the product in liquid, liquids ruin electronics.

Because AugustHaus LLC cannot control how this product will be used we will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages.

 

Please note this warranty does NOT cover expendable parts (if supplied), this includes but is not limited to:

- Heating elements

- Quartz

- Other glass items

Warranty of any kind is void if the following are evident upon receiving the unit for inspection:

- Excessive physical abuse

- Damage due to negligence

- Water damage

- Tampering with the cabinet closure in any way

- Burn damage related/but not limited to: resting a hot banger on the controller, leaving the heating element in an unsafe manner, etc.

- Usage of a third-party heating element.

 

We do not warrant the use of our product with any illicit substances.

We do not warrant the use of our product with other brand heating elements

With proof of sale, your AugustHaus controller holds a limited lifetime warranty, with a three year warranty for parts and labor. This unit is not warranted if these terms and conditions are not followed. If the unit is found to have broken the Terms and Conditions as outlined, we will inform you of any costs before service.

 

Limited Lifetime Warranty/At-Cost Lifetime Repairs

Repairs that are outside of the three year parts and labor warranty, or deemed outside of warranty due to a breach of the Terms and Conditions are still eligible for at-cost repairs up to $100. Please take due care when packing the contents for transport, as we are not held liable for parts broken in transit due to inadequate shipping methods. We will first attempt to repair your controller. If the unit is not able to be repaired due to negligence of these terms and conditions we will offer a discounted replacement unit

 

Cord Management

- Please be sure not to twist the heating element cable. Inside of the fabric sheath is five wires that can become tangled. This is bad for the lifespan of the unit and we will not replace parts that are damaged due to negligence/abuse.

- Please keep the cord in a safe place, where it cannot be pulled, tripped on, etc.

- We only warrant our controllers with our heating elements. This is for the safety of the user; using third-party heating elements can lead to critical failure.

Quartz

We do not warrant used Quartz. In the unlikely event that the Quartz arrives damaged, please do not use the Quartz and contact us with picture documentation. Again, we cannot warrant Quartz once it has been used. Please do a very thorough inspection upon arrival, in case of an unlikely event in transit.

 

Follow our instructions in the AugustHaus forum very carefully when cleaning the banger. We do not recommend removing the banger from the heating coil for regular cleaning, however if you do require removing the banger please follow these rules:

  • Once the heating element has cooled down, hold the banger and the coil together with one hand/ This will securely brace the quartz.

  • Only pull the pin by the circular handle bent into the shape of the pin.

  • Pull the pin so that you continue in the direction of the bend.

  • Do NOT bend the pin when trying to remove it.

  • Do NOT pull the two ends of the pin apart.

All international shipping for both purchases and service requests is to be covered by the customer. Please take due care when packing the contents for transport, as we are not held liable for parts broken in transit due to inadequate shipping methods.

Return Policy

If you are unsatisfied with the product you may return it within two weeks of receiving the items for a refund (return shipping not included).

 ***Please do not send glass items, we cannot accept them as a return. Your return amount will be adjusted accordingly***
